Frankly I don't know why Rose thinks a comment was necessary. He wasn't explicitly named in the ruling and his one year at Memphis is in the past. It's not like he ever had emotional ties to the University.

apparently he's been denying it for awhile now but being Clintonesque about it. Saying I didn't do anything, or I didn't do it instead of saying outright I didn't cheat, I took my own test. Finally some reporter cornered him on it so he said I took the test.

He refused to answer the followup question which was why does a kid from Chicago take the test in Detroit, the hometown of William Wesley, and at the exact same time that John Calipari just "happened" to be in Detroit?

I think he's denying it because he knows the people of Memphis would hate him if he ever admitted he did cheat?
