Breaking news; Breaston has knee surgery
Tuesday 09-28-2010 2:20pm MT
XTRA Sports 910 Mike Jurecki is reporting Cardinals WR- Steve Breaston had knee surgery today; according to my source Breaston tore his meniscus and expected to be out the next couple of games... tune in this afternoon @ 2 PM for more details.

This sucks...

Wow! We are getting really thin at our supposed deepest position fast. Wish Q was still here :(

better now than later. These next two games were pretty much guaranteed losses in my mind anyway.

Well, that explains Onrea Jones. He's going to be playing at WR.

You'd hurt your knee to if you had to spin around to catch balls thrown behind you all day long.

Good thing we got rid of Leinart so he couldn't get the receivers hurt.

I bet it happened on that poopy sideline pass by DA.

Probably not considering he has been having knee issues for two weeks now. Just got to a point where it had to be fixed.

Fitz is gotta be just dying over this. Probably see triple coverage now. They can call it the Tampa 3

Well in all fairness. Being down your #2 and #3 WR's and your #1 not being 100% does kind of suck.

I was going to start a thread about trading for Steve Smith, Carolina, but then thought why waste getting him with Scud as the QB. All things being normal, i'd bet he could be had and would fit nicely in Arizona. Plus, he's used to having guys like Delhomme, Moore, and Clausen throwing to him so he would be able to step right.

I don't know how many good QB's would do well with the top 3 WR's not 100% or out! Better get it fixed now than wait. 2 games and then the by week. Here we go Fitz #1, Williams becomes #2 and Max gets #3. Howlings, Roberts Jones. From having the best Wr's plus a great QB last year to 2 undrafted and not ready yet, and Andersons fairy tales. I'm getting drunk!

At least they let us know this time. Beanie may get 20+ carries this week, if he's healthy, as the Cards are going to have to try and play ball control.
