He's better and faster than Scooby - but I'm not sure he would be happy being a backup. I think Bynes is better than him at this point

You could watch the Bills game from 2 years ago if you want to watch him get de-cleated about 5 times, and give up HUGE runs.
Bucanon is more hype than production, IMHO.

Dansby had 53 stops on defense and 13 defeats last season. His 58% success rate defending the pass was good enough for 14th among linebackers.

Although Dansby is not the player he used to be he is still at least an average linebacker. The pro's of bringing him back are knowledge, depth and he can call all the defensive plays better than anyone we have out there. Con's of bringing him back are he would be taking up a roster spot if we had a young guy that we wanted to bring along. Our defense now is going to be in a 4-2-5 now 90% of the time so either he stays on the field and either Buc or Reddick comes off or Dansby is used to be the main backup and comes off the field. If we were not so thin at linebacker I would say no to bringing him back, but because we are, I wouldn't be against bringing him back on a vet minimum deal for depth.
