Coach Mike Pettine understands his losing record may not warrant a third season with the Browns, but is convinced he has them headed the right way. With his future uncertain, Pettine spoke confidently Thursday about the growth he's seen, and hopes owner Jimmy Haslam gives him a chance to finish what he's started. Pettine is 10-21 since taking over the Browns, just 3-17 in his last 20 games.
