The Browns are interviewing Carolina defensive coordinator Sean McDermott and Jacksonville offensive assistant Doug Marrone for their head coaching job. McDermott is taking a break during the team's bye before next week's playoff game to meet Thursday with the Browns, who fired Mike Pettine after two seasons. The 41-year-old McDermott has no head coaching experience, but his defenses have finished ranked in the top 10 in each of the past four seasons.
