Browns coach Mike Pettine says starting quarterback Josh McCown is following the NFL's protocol on concussions and it's too early to know if he'll be able to play in the home opener against Tennessee. McCown took a blow to the helmet, was spun in the air and landed hard after trying to dive into the end zone in the first quarter of Sunday's 31-10 loss to the New York Jets. McCown was replaced by backup Johnny Manziel, who threw his first career touchdown pass but also had an interception and fumbled twice.
