Give up a 3rd rounder to move up 1 spot...gotta be Richardson, and trading up so that the Bucs don't.

That has to be it as there were rumors today that Tampa would try that move.

Should never draft a RB in the top 10, much less trade up to do so. Dumb move.

Its hard being a Cards fan sometimes

but DDDAAAAAMMMMNNNMMMM.

I cant imagine the pain Browns fans have to endure. Trade 3 picks for a guy wouldve gotten anyways.

WOW

Maybe but that means they get their man for sure no worries about somebody jumping in front of them. They must really believe that Richardson is that good and will be worth it.

The only reason it makes sense.

Even with this trade, the Browns still have 5 picks in the top 100. Sure they did the trade without breaking a sweat.

Spielmann did a superb job of extortion.

Cleveland competes in the AFC-North where it's been rumored it snows in Nov/Dec. They felt they hadda have Richardson and had a surplus of picks to work with anyway. So they bit the bullet and pre-empted any other Richardson suitor.

Good job on both sides.

Wasn't aware of that. That's huge and expains why they did this deal.
