Another one of those computer crashes has taken me totally out of operation since Easter Sunday. I won't be able to get back online to access the Big Red Sheet (BRS) at www.azcardinal.com til mid to late next week.

The crash couldn't have come at a worse time. Various distractions (personal and otherwise) delayed my work on the 2008 Draft Issue; and now that I have the time to work on it, I can't log onto the site.

Bear with me. The format will, by necessity, be less detailed than previous years (and in a somewhat different format). But I still plan to get something up well before Draft Day (preferably NLT mid April).

In closing, I'll just say: "Don't buy Dell computers!"

Would you consider posting some of your stuff as a blog entry here? Chandler Mike could help you, we could all enjoy it and the site could get some more traffic.

Great suggestion...I like reading most of your stuff Jeff, but rarely end up going to the site.

That sucks, Jeff. Your entire comprehensive draft work every year has been the one I respect most and referenced most.

The unique way of grouping the "experts" evaluations, player by player and the Cardinals-specific slant and focus make the BRS the best draft source for me.

Look forward to it, and thanks for putting the time in to keep it going.

Third, fourth, fifth, or whatever it is. That's me too.

Don't Buy Dell Computers

Now you tell me. I have a new PC, and have lots of problems. And don't know if the problem is:
1. Hardware(Dell)
2. Internet Provider(AOL)
3. Internet Access(Verizon)

#1 says the problem is #2 or #3.
#2 says the problem is #1 or #3
#3 says the problem is #1 or #2

And the answer is???????????????????

Garth, the answer is none of the above. Working on fixing radars in the service taught me that all electronics work on the little-understood FM theory.
