Where’s he fit? Would they be stuck with Bowles & Leftwich?

I truly loved the guy's tenure in AZ, but If Arians wants to coach again, why doesn't he move down to the sideline for the last two regular season games & playoffs, and see what he can do to salvage the Buccaneers' season?! I know he wanted to promote the careers of Bowles and Leftwich, but they're already dead men walking without Arians as things stand.
Why did he move up to the consultant role in the first place? After he "retired" on the Cardinals & Buccaneers (even though they went all-in to retain all their talent for another run), what team could really count on him to stay the course when the going gets rough now?

Make it so MBAfter saying that my Saints buddy told me the Cardinals have made an offer to Sean Payton after talking with him so either one would be fine by me.
Well, unless I have missed it (and, I may have), who, how, where is your buddy getting his info?I would take him back in a New York second. Best coach this team ever had! I would not take Arians back, because when he leaves he will leave a complete dumpster fire without thinking about any future which does not include him and doubt if he came back he would coach for long. Great coach, but not worth the short term effectI would take him back in a New York second. Best coach this team ever had! His retiring parallels TB12 retiring and then coming back. I think it was a "me or him" situation. If Arians comes back and sticks with Tampa Bay, it would signal Brady moving on, IMO. Only BA could keep the coaching staff together, as I think Bowles would be okay going back to DC role, once and for all. Leftwich would be the wildcard...I could honestly see BA letting him walk, as I'm sure he sees what everyone else sees and that's Leftwich isn't OC/HC material at all.I truly loved the guy's tenure in AZ, but If Arians wants to coach again, why doesn't he move down to the sideline for the last two regular season games & playoffs, and see what he can do to salvage the Buccaneers' season?! If not here, where do you see him going?I’m hearing Payton is definitely coming back. He has already assembled a full coaching staff. It will be a very expensive staff. I have trouble seeing Bidwill spend that much but maybe he’s tired of the insults.
It's 3 teams, I think. Cowboys, but at this point they'd have to just get embarrassed in their 1st playoff game to possibly fire McCarthy. Rams, but that's still a big 'If' on McVay retiring...he's said he'll quit when Aaron, Cooper and Matt hang them up. I think Stafford may retire this year, but Kupp isn't going anywhere and I really think Donald won't want to end his career in an injury and down year (see JJ Watt). That leaves the Cardinals to be in the running. If not here, where do you see him going?
Maybe nowhere. He wants to come back but the price is very high. Though Denver lacks the Saints price they might work something out. He might even return to the Saints. Let’s see who misses the playoffs and who gets blown out in the playoffs first roundIf not here, where do you see him going?
Agreed. Next up for that guy is blowing a gasket, literally, on the sideline.BA needs to stay retired. His time has come and gone. Additionally, his health is still a major issue.
I was told that the Cardinals agreed to his demands but Payton hadn’t made a decision yet.I’m hearing Payton is definitely coming back. He has already assembled a full coaching staff. He has some friends in the organization that he played with and coached. He’s been a Saints guy his whole life.Well, unless I have missed it (and, I may have), who, how, where is your buddy getting his info?
