He's got the numbers... Goldy's 2nd half slide killed him... :(
Despite Goldy's 2nd half slide, he finished second for MVP. On a team not in the post-season.

'Wounded him maybe. 'Killed him, nah!

If Goldschmidt put up a .931 OPS (what he did in the 2nd half) over an entire season, he'd still be one of the top 5 or 6 position players in all of baseball. That's a pretty incredible slide.

Good for him. Harper definitely won it in the 2nd half.

Goldy just got wore out man you could see it clear as day. Between the stress of late pregnancy and I cant imagine having to be away from your wife while all that is going on, plus the weight of carrying the franchise,,, I'm glad the season is over I hope he's getting some awesome family time. Goldy has finished 2nd what, 3 times now? He will get his MVP. :) Same year he gets us another ring!
