yes, those were TEs in a Cardinal uniform playing well and being a part of the offense :D

Even my wife noticed that. After King's TD, she asked me who he was. I told her that he was a backup to Heap, and she said "Really? No one ever uses our tight ends! I like this Kolb."

I got into the stadium very early and just a few players were out on the field getting warmed up.

King had Rob Housler out there and King was practicing one thing, run blocking. He was working on his footwork and hand placement and using Housler as a blocking dummy.

After he was done he took Housler aside and was showing/reminding him to punch out on his blocks to keep the defenders hands off of him.

I think King is turning out to be a very under rated signing.

That's great to hear. It's a nice change to not only have 2 effective tight ends right now but also our tight end of the future.
