Buck and Marlins near $18M, 3-year deal (AP)

A person familiar with the negotiations tells The Associated Press that All-Star catcher John Buck and the Florida Marlins are close to agreement on an $18 million, three-year contract. The person spoke Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the deal was not yet final. The person said the sides were working to wrap it up.
