Why would he leave for essentially the same position at the college level? Is he under contract with us for next season?

I think he has the potential to be a DC...so I could understand him going to NCAA I'm that role, but not for the same job.

He would be on my shortlist for the cards DC spot if Vance goes. At least deserves an interview

I don't know why he would go to Auburn after already turning down Clemson, which would have been probably a little bit higher profile gig.

I'm bigger on DB coaches getting looked at to be DCs. They understand the back four of the defense better which is crucial.

DB or LB coaches make the best DC's imo. Buckner would definitely get a look if VJ gets fired or leaves. Please Lord no Bill Davis though, any LB coach would be an upgrade over him imo lol.
