Bucs CF McCutchen leaves game after HBP (AP)

Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen had to leave Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs after he was hit by a pitch. McCutchen was batting with a runner on second in the first inning when he was struck by Ryan Dempster pitch in the area around the left wrist. He remained in the game to run the bases but was removed between innings and replaced by Jose Tabata.
