I'll be there for sure! With only 2 more wins over last year, I still think this team is playing a lot better than last season. So I'll be there to let the players know that we aren't all fair weather fans, maybe frustrated fans, but there nontheless.

Are you going to meet up @ halftime?

Have you met any of the other freaks from this place?

Won't be there - but I'd really like to see this team close out the season with a W to head into next year. 6-10 - that's a pretty solid season for year of a rebuilding phase from hell.

Although - I think people are wrong about how "weak" our division is gonna be next year. I expect Marmie to be fired and I expect to see a hell of a lot of Stephen Jackson for the Rams and with Bulger healthy and a new D-Coordinator - they will be the team to beat again in our division.

That's refreshing since last year a bunch of people on here actually wanted us to lose the last game vs. Minnesota. :doi:

Go Cards !!!

yup and I was one of them - but this season's totally different and you know it. Last year's win was truly meaningless - the coaching staff was gonna be gone, the core of the team was gonna be differrent - all that win served was to hurt us draft wise - I still stand by that.

As opposed to this season - with this team and coaching staff coming back, a win actually will provide momentum going into next season. I know we see it different ways - but that's okay - I'm still waiting for my ASFN Cards Red Shirt/Sweater/Hat Channukah present from all you cheap bastards.

Unless you're a diehard Cards fan that wants to see the team win.

It was a great game that made waves around the league. I'm still glad we didn't lay down regardless of what changed on draft day.

To each his own.

or unless you're a diehard Cards fan that thinks more about long-term success than a game that has no meaning whatsoever.

But - to each his own.

And for someone who has ZEO money - to people that have anything more than him - hell yeah - you're a bunch of cheap bastards! :D

C'mon, cheese - are you saying you pull for the team to lose once they're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs?

Is our draft pick locked in this year (win or lose), so you're okay with a win? :bang:

As a Cards fan, I pull for them to win every game, even preseason. I take each game as it comes. Next year will take care of itself. Play to win.

As to point number - Brian - since we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs - WOULD I SAY I WAS HOPING FOR A WIN THIS WEEK if I was really "pulling for this team to lose once they're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs?" as you nferred above. Point blank I said I was rooting for them to win this week - and said last year was different story because of the enromous tunraround that was coming. Don't why there's a shrug there or the need to ask that question - seems like you just want to start a strupid fight and I'm not going there.

But let's continue to debunk the myths above - which have me painted as the "bad fan" - As far as you're second point - our draft pick ISN'T locked in this year - we could get anywhere from 5 to 12 - so me rooting for them to win here kinda blows that point out of the water. This year IS about next year because of the continuity going into next season with players and coaches.

You look at it differently than I do - that's fine - I just don't see the need to try and paint someone as something they're not.

And last year wasn't?

Hmmm...

Who was that QB that led us back against the Vikes...Josh something... :doi:

Golly, I think there are many players from last year's team on this team.

Personally, I want a team made up of players determined to win every time they take the field, regardless of the coaching situation, etc.

Don't bother answering cheese, I know we won't ever agree on this issue.

I always want my team to win and you, eh...not so much. :D

whatever Brian - ask the Falcons fans how much they hurt in those last couple games the year before they got Vick - or ask some Cleveland fans how much they wanted to win ballgames the year before they got Lebron. For some - realizing that sometimes - a step back - is actually STEP FORWARD for a franchise doesn't mean you want players to tank - it just means you wouldn't be crushed if they lost. It's called seeing the forrest from the trees. And we're talking about fans - here - not the players(which you brought up for some reason - agains - prolly to make me out to be the "bad fan") - I don't ever advocate players tank games - ah forget, you're just being a bit of a douche here - but it's all good!:D Thankfully, with Denny at the helm we won't have any more seasons where this topic has to come up!

There is a difference in wanting your team to win, but not being crushed if they lose and wanting your team to lose and being crushed because they won. Get it?

You brought up the continuity of players and coaches as the difference from last year and this year. I disagreed and pointed out why.

Name-calling...nice touch.

BTW: Denny has made many blunders as a coach (MN/AZ), so I wouldn't assume anything with him in charge. :D
