In case you didn't notice it, there’s a flaw in his game. He seems to have stiff hips and therefore doesn’t come out of his backpedal smoothly. Receivers are gaining separation and a few have gapped him significantly. This is hard to fix with coaching, though considering his agility it may be correctable. I’m very surprised to see it considering is overall coordination. However, if it can’t be fixed teams will take advantage of him once he’s used more in coverage. This also increases the pressure on the Cards to redo TM’s contract so they can keep him. It’s tricky because he has lost a step. Still he’s more capable of being a physical force in the defensive backfield. Their height makes it challenging to use them on the same play. It just leaves easier throwing lanes. I’m curious how the Cards new coach will choose to deal with this.

Budda struggled in zones, particularly in space...as did everyone but Bethea. In man, Budda covered consistently well underneath.

I think it's fine as long as Baker's primary role is at FS, not at NCB. IMO, hip snap is the differentiator between safeties and corners.

All jokes aside, Al is a very smart men and an entrepreneur. He owns a multi-million business that he got capital for on Shark Tank. He is a role model to follow not only for that but he's been married to the same woman for over 30 years.

Cardinals could really use a true center field type safety. Especially if they are unable to find an above average #2 CB
