Buffalo allows Kansas to interview Gill (AP)

The University at Buffalo has granted Kansas permission to interview Turner Gill for their vacant coaching position. In confirming permission had been granted on Monday, Buffalo spokesman Paul Vecchio said the school did not know whether the two parties had spoken. Citing a source, The Buffalo News reported that Gill met with Kansas officials in New York City on Sunday.
