I saw this on Twitter and thought it was fun.

I don't agree with some of the values and listed positions. But give it a shot. Disregard positions if you want.

Barkley is a must for me as well as either one of Nash or KJ.

My best were:
KJ, Horny, Majerle, Barkley, and West.
Total 90s Suns fantasy team having Barkley w/o losing Horny.

I also liked, Nash, Raja, Majerle, Barkley, and West.

$5 Nash PG
$2 Horny SG
$2 EJ SF
$5 Barkley PF
$1 West C

In this era my 1-3 would be lights out shooters. Barkley would utterly dominate the boards and I'd have solid D in the post with West. My overall D would suck out loud but we'd score 150 a night.

That’s kinda fun.

Not thinking of it as “all suns” team but rather can only choose from these I go:

Kidd (bargain for $3)
Horny ($2)
EJ ($2)
Barkley ($5)
Ayton ($3)

Team could shoot and kill you down low. Not great defensively but would out score you.

Of course I want all these players in their prime:

Kevin Johnson- $4- point guard

Jeff Hornacek- $2- shooting guard

Charles Barkley- $5- power forward

Maurice Lucas- $1- center

Dan Majerle- $3- small forward

C - Deandre Ayton - $3
PF - Larry Nance - $2
SF - Walter Davis - $4
SG - Jeff Hornacek - $2
PG - Kevin Johnson - $4

Larry Nance is probably the most underrated great player the Suns have ever had.

Nance was the first of the 6'10 Small Forwards in the NBA, which moved Sweet D to Shooting Guard.
Very innovative on the part of the Suns. Their only innovative move to upsize a position.

But I don't think Nance played PF until after he left the Suns later in his career.

Nash, Raja, Cedric, Barkley, and Ayton.

Barkley would help push Ayton and he'd also help on the boards, allowing Ayton to box out for him or grab the secondary rebounds. Nash would make Ayton and Barkley score at insane rates. Raja is there to be a 3&D guy and Ceballos would help provide some length and scoring.

He actually played some PF and C here before being traded - mainly because the talent was so thin.

Lucas costs $2.

Switch Johnson to Kidd, and then your team fits into the budget and it is identical with mine.

Lucas only costs $1. Perhaps you are confusing him with Nance?

What a great thread. This is harder than I thought. Assuming nobody played out of position (I don't agree Amare was ever a center and mistake on this chart)......

If I was going to make assumption about Ayton's career it would be this:

PG Nash - $5
SG Bell - $1
SF Ceballos - $1
PF Barkley - $5
C Ayton - $3

If not.....

PG Nash - $5
SG Bell - $1
SF Majerle - $3
PF Barkley - $5
C West - $1
