I've been looking into building something like this, but with one of the ice cube type cases instead. Also, i'd like to output the video display to either two pasma/LCD's or two projectors for a dual display setup.

I'm not sure if the video card technology is up to displaying HDTV yet, but if someone knows i'd like to hear it.

It's either Nvidia or ATI that has HD video cards already.

Actually after a little more research it looks like both do, and there are several HD tuner cards available, but they're analog not digital.

Intel has the new ViiV chipset which looks pretty cool.

NVidia has the best support for HDTV right now. ATI's driver's are still problematic.
