Just a fact. As much as we complain about the Dbacks Bullpen (some justified), the Dbacks bullpen ERA is 13th best in MLB - middle of the road.

What has hurt is end of games. 20th in saves - but even then, Dbacks are mid pack in blown saves

This isn't just in Arizona - this is a league wide issue. And the revenue gaps really show in this area - Dodgers, etc can blow 15-20 million on a closer.

While I agree that with players swinging for the fences every time now and juiced balls this makes it harder for relievers to put on clean sheets. Dbacks consistantly struggle to have a reliable closer under Hazen. At some point he needs to invest on a guy who can close games out.

Some of the dbacks pitchers come in and struggle to even throw strikes. I know throwing in the warm up pen is different than the real mound. But can't Mike Fetters see the guy just doesn't have it that game and relay the message back and get another arm ready in case the guy comes in and struggles right away, before he creates a mess out there?

Bellpen guys are so inconsistent that I'd be scared to invest heavily in any of them. You can probably count the guys who have been consistently good recently, as in more than a couple years, on one hand.
