He wasn't a starter for the foundering Brooklyn Nets, why are you concerned about anything he wants?

Why are you concerned why I am concerned?

Well nba starters are a bit winy. We know TJ is better than Craig. And TJ left the suns on somewhat not the best of terms. And given the information about how the Crowder and Monty situation played, it’s just a mild concern.

Didn't Monty come on right after Warren's last season here? Did they ever have any sort of relationship prior to TJ being traded. Monty was hired and TJ was traded in the same off season.

Warren being a legit 6th man would be a miracle. Not gonna believe for a second he stays healthy long enough to be that guy.

But he’s be perfect for the position if he miraculously stays healthy.

I don't think TJ is better than Craig. TJ is an alright shooter but brings absolutely nothing else to the table. He's also a big time ball stopper.

Once Durant gets back, I wouldn't be surprised if Warren is hardly in the rotation.

Warren came in and talked to Jones and was shiped to the Pacers the next day. He never talk to anyone on the team and I wonder what Booker thinks about this. He might be a ball stopper but he is called bucket I believe. I loved when the Suns drafted him.

Disagree, I think he has a role on the bench. We need his ability to create his own shot.

Warren is an outstanding scorer. Problem with TJ was that he had mysterious injuries all the time. His game was never his problem. If he can actually be available to play, Warren could be huge for this team.

Crazy how some people think Warren is washed up or something. As some have said, his availability is his biggest issue. If he's able to play he could really help this team. I bet I could find posts from last season from some though still angry JJ "gave him away". He was dumped on Indiana but he balled out when he played. Problem there was he didn't play much beyond that first season.

I'm not saying he is trash, but I don't see him being more valuable to this team than Craig or even Okogie.

Warren can create his own shot and score at a decent rate... he also does not pass, rebound or defend. His iso scoring is a plus and he does nothing else well... he's the same guy he as been his entire career... but somewhat diminished because of all the injuries.

When you look at our starters, we don't need an iso scorer, we need a defender who can hit some open threes. Not only is Craig a far better defender than Warren but, he's actually been a better three point shooter... he's also a better rebounder and that is just gravy. I'd honestly play Okogie over Warren too. Okogie is a great defender who provides a ton of hustle.

Also, he only really "balled out" for a few games in the bubble. Outside of that he's perpetually been a scorer with middling efficiency who brings nothing else to the table.

He's okay depth, but IMO, he isn't a starter or even a 6th or 7th man.

I just can’t imagine he would ever be healthy for us.

come playoff time Book, KD and DA are getting 40 min a night short of blow outs with CP not far behind. TW can come in for hitting mid range shots while either KD/Book are on the bench. I would rather watch TW than Shamet. D Lee should only come in for plays involving needed 3pt shooting. I thought he could spell Book but his D is terrible. Roll the dice with Jackson and see if he can be anything like he was against the Suns 2 years ago

I'm looking in to Justin Holliday more and more. If Reggie is washed (I'm not sure) Holliday may be a better option.

Ross and Jackson would likely be the best we can hope for barring anyone unexpected getting bought out. Ross's stats are down but he still looks explosive and from what I've seen from Magic fans is he still looks good when he does put in effort.

Whew. I think this guy isn’t what we need, I think Shamet is still better than Ross.

Reggie Jackson I think slipped because Kahwi is somewhat back. I think Reggie still has some left in the tank.

I remember Warren showing up at Monty's intro presser and then talking to him for a long time after. There was a pic of it published. Not long after Warren was traded.

Saw some speculation that Thaddeus Young may get bought out. If true he'd probably be my #1 choice. He hasn't fallen off a cliff this year like a lot of the other names being mentioned and plays the position that needs the most help imo.
