CLEVELAND — March Madness continues for Alabama basketball, now on to Newark, New Jersey, where the Crimson Tide will make its third consecutive Sweet 16 appearance.
No. 2 seed Alabama (27-8) defeated No. 7 seed Saint Mary's 80-66 to keep the returning Final Four program's fifth straight NCAA Tournament run alive.
Next, the Crimson Tide meet No. 6 seed Brigham Young University.

Thirty-seven points for No. 3 seed Wisconsin's Jordan Tonje weren't enough to topple the Cougars, who won 91-89 on Saturday to reach the Sweet 16 for the first time in 14 years.
BYU (26-9) was led by 25 points from junior forward Richie Saunders, who was supported by three more double-digit scorers and another solid performance off the bench for Dallin Hall, who had six assists behind eight for freshman guard Egor Demin.
