Apr. 16—WHITEFISH — Addy Bowler drove in four runs on a pair of hits as Columbia Falls defeated Whitefish in Northwest A softball Tuesday.

Bowler drove in two runs on a single to center field as Columbia Falls (2-4) scored nine runs in the opening frame.

She added another two-run single in the second to grow the Wildkats lead to 13-0.

Hailey Greene threw two no-hit innings for Columbia Falls, fanning four. The game ended after three innings due to the run rule.

Izzy Jarvis drove in the only run for Whitefish (0-3) with a bases loaded walk in the third inning.

Ronan 18, Libby 8

RONAN — Autumn Lozeau hit a two-run single during an eight-run fourth inning as Ronan seized control for a win over Libby.

Kailyn Marengo added another two-run single later in the inning that drove Lozeau and Ally Luedtke home.

Marengo went the distance in the circle for Ronan (5-3), striking out five.

Dakota Allen and Madison Vincent picked up three hits apiece for the Loggers (2-4), who outhit the Maidens 13-8.

Thompson Falls-Noxon 14, Eureka 1

EUREKA — Callie McGillis hit a two-run single during a 10 run third inning as Thompson Falls-Noxon defeated Eureka.

McGillis' hit was one of six singles in the third frame for the Blue Hawks (5-6) which sealed the victory.

Maren Lytle drove in the only run for Eureka (1-6) on an RBI groundout during the third inning.

Olivia Fitchett threw all five innings for the Blue Hawks, allowing just five hits and striking out seven. The game ended early due to the run rule.

Troy 26, Priest River, Idaho 0

TROY — Leslie Gravier drove in four runs and Troy scored 18 runs in the first inning as the Trojans rolled over Priest River, Idaho.

Gravier started her damage for the Trojans (7-0) in the first frame with an RBI single to right field, scoring Halle Wallace. She added an RBI triple in the second inning that brought in Wallace again. She also crossed the plate four times.

Wallace threw three no-hit innings, striking out five. The game ended after three innings due to the run rule.

Monday

Polson 19, Whitefish 0

WHITEFISH — Olivia Jore drove in four runs and crossed the plate three times herself as Polson cruised to a 19-0 win over Whitefish in Northwest A softball.

After a pair of RBI walks and an RBI groundout, Jore singled in the third inning for her lone hit of the afternoon, bringing in another run.

Madison Turner went all three innings in the circle for the Pirates (5-0-1), allowing just one hit and fanning five.

Marlis Nardi accounted for the lone hit of the afternoon for Whitefish.
