Caitlin Clark to join Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird for national title game alternate broadcast

After playing in the last two national championship games, Caitlin Clark will be part of Sunday's title game in a different way.

The Indiana Fever star will join Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi on ESPN's alternate broadcast during the national championship contest between UConn and South Carolina.

Bird and Taurasi announced the news during UConn's win over UCLA in the Final Four on Friday night. The Huskies will play defending champion South Carolina in the title game.

Clark previously joined the altcast when she played for Iowa. The Hawkeyes and Clark made the national championship game in 2023 and 2024. Both times, Iowa lost.
