Cal is coming off a disappointing road loss to Nevada while Arizona comes off an emotional big win over Iowa. I could see the possibility of a letdown from Arizona and some extra motivation out of Cal. Who wins this and why?
Could be a letdown game, but Arizona is simply a better team.
Cal was vastly overrated because they played 2 horrible teams. Nevada exposed that defense and Kevin Riley.
Riley is Derek Anderson, good athlete, great arm, very inconsistent accuracy and misses high over and over.
Shane Vereen is amazing, uncanny feet and balance, but he's really having to carry the load because Riley is so inconsistent. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sweeney if Riley struggles again.
I didn't actually see the Nevada game because of work, but Cal did score 31 points and had 277 passing yards. I know he threw 3 picks, but I still wouldn't overlook Riley and the Cal offense.
does anyone know what channel to watch the game on Direct TV? Just curious..

Man, that was an ugly win, but I'll take it.
Man, #9 on the is freakin' stupid. You get an INT with under 40 seconds left sit yer butt down. Crap fumble, we got lucky.
I'll take it too, but that was ugly.

A win is a win is all I can say, Arizona still has not played well this year and is 4-0. However this team can't continue losing turnover and penalty battles and expect to win games.
A more difficult schedule than ASU (Iowa and possibly Toledo are probably better than any Hawkins CU squad) that year but similar nonetheless. Like ASU that year I think we're clearly the third best team in the conference with the top 2 being in a whole other conversation. Pac is also a whole lot deeper now than then too. Maybe Andrew Luck will get hurt and we can back our way into a Pac-10 Co-Champion banner like ASU did after Dennis Dixon's injury.Do they remind you of ASU in '07 at all? Iowa's better than ASUs big OoC opponent that year, Colorado. But it seems like UAs got a very favorable schedule, like ASU did that year, allowing them to rack up a bunch of wins early in the year while facing a rather backloaded schedule.
