Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun says he will not commit to coaching beyond this season, even though his 3 1/2 -week medical leave of absence did nothing to diminish his desire to coach basketball. Calhoun spoke Friday for the first time since leaving the team on Jan. 18, a span of seven games. He refused to detail the medical condition that caused him to take time off.
