A Saturday showdown between two former Kentucky Wildcats head coaches, the Arkansas Razorbacks' John Calipari and the St. John's Red Storm's Rick Pitino, is scheduled to tip off at about 2:40 p.m. Eastern in Providence, Rhode Island, a city in which Pitino also coached.

The West region second-round game between 10th-seeded Arkansas and second-seeded St. John's will air on CBS, with Andrew Catalon doing play-by-play, color analyst Steve Lappas and sideline reporter Evan Washburn. The game will follow the first game of the day in Providence between No. 12 McNeese and No. 4 Purdue.

John Calipari-Rick Pitino history​


John Calipari and Rick Pitino have faced off 23 times as college coaches, according to CBS, with Calipari leading, 13-10. The coaches have split their four NCAA tournament meetings at two apiece, including twice in the Final Four.

Pitino and UK defeated Calipari and UMass in the 1996 Final Four on the way to a national championship. Calipari and UK defeated Pitino's Louisville team in the 2012 Final Four, and won the national title that year.
