Cal's Montgomery: I had bladder cancer (AP)

California men's basketball coach Mike Montgomery says he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and had surgery last week that has left him cancer-free. Montgomery made the announcement Friday at Pac-12 media day in Los Angeles. The school announced Montgomery's surgery last week, but didn't disclose any details about it.
