Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward showed off his skills to all 32 NFL teams on Monday at the 'Canes pro day, but the reality is that Ward was auditioning for just one team. The Tennessee Titans, owners of the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, sent their decision-makers to Miami to confirm that Ward will be their guy with that top pick.

Ward performed well in the carefully scripted throwing portion of the pro day. He felt good about it afterward in talking with Cameron Wolfe and Brian Baldinger from the NFL Network, too.

"I said, 'I'm solidifying it today," Ward told the hosts about what he said to the Titans after a particular throw where he rolled out and threw a perfect strike on the run. "I made sure they heard me."

Ward talked about how he wanted to show all the teams — not just the Titans — that he can throw in rhythm and from different drop depths, "from under (center) or in the (shot)gun, heavy play action."
