Wow, drafted Milicic, signed Cambell, and they were one of the best teams in the east last year. Not to mention they got Larry Brown too.

With additions of these seven footers, and with Okur's improvement, Cliffy can finally move back to SF/PF.

I'll be surprised if Cliff is actually a Detroit Piston in November. It's no secret because of the acquisition of Campbell and drafting of Darko, they're trying to off load Cliff.

They should trade him to the Knicks for Charlie Ward.

Only if they were intending to use him at center, becuase they certainly don't need any more forwards.

Rumors have circulated that the Raptors are interested in Cliff since their new coach (former Piston assistant Kevin O'Neil) had a strong working relationship w/Cliff during his 2-yrs there....

C – Campbell / Rebraca
PF – Wallace / Milicic / Okur
SF –Robinson / Williamson / Prince / Curry
SG – Hamilton / Delfino / Davis
PG – Billups / Atkins

This is a very scary team considering they are in the East.

Milicic and Okur are just going to keep getting better and better, and better. (Delfino as well)

Delfino will stay one more year at Kinder Bologna.

Are you sure? I thought I just read a few days ago that it was looking more likely that he would play for the Pistons next season.

There was a report on hoopshype.com that Boligna refused DET's buy-out offer for Delfino.

Thanks. I've been out of town for a couple of days, salon getting caught up.

I read in the Detroit paper over the weekend that it is 50/50 at this point, if he doesn't play in Detroit they will try to re-sign Jon Berry.

According to today's Freep Pistons's feature that Barry might sign soon with the Pacers....

More Pistons: Shooting guard Jon Barry wants to sign with the Pacers, the Indianapolis Star reported. "It would be something I'd love to do. They feel I'm a leader although I'm a bench player," Barry, a free agent, told the Star. Indiana team president Larry Bird said he will finish a new contract for Reggie Miller before moving on to Barry, who visited the Pacers on July 19. Barry said that Jermaine O'Neal called him early in the summer to sell him on the Pacers and endorsed him. "Jermaine's going to get a cut of my salary if I sign there," Barry said. "I'll have to give him an agent's fee." . . . The Pistons will release their full schedule today.

Even if Delfino remains in Europe for another season, there is another viable option for the Pistons, which is PG
Pepe Sanchez

He didnt have an opportunity to prove himself in last year's training camp because he had contract and visa issues with his Spanish team and for some reason ended-up in former coach, Rick Carlisle's "dog-house" However, he does have an ally in Larry Brown, who had coached him in Philly during the '00-'01 season.....

I just think that Jon Barry always tends to be overly-aggressive and commits too many turnovers to suit me and Sanchez is extremely athletic and guaranteed a contract for this season and should have the chance to prove his worth.....
