can anybody recommend barcode software?

Company is looking at adding a barcode system to track high value assets both our own and others on loan from customers.

Wondering if anybody has any recommendations, we're small so we tend too look for "cost effective" solutions.

Thanks we're pretty small about 35 people now so we're not looking for a huge system.

We have much less than that

you can create your own using Microsoft Word for free just down load the text files. Also you can pick up cheap usb bar code scanners. Just a suggestion

Thanks I guess it's more complicated than I realized because we do business with military so we have to meet military specs. I have pages of information I just got that are controller offloaded on me so I have some reading up to do before we make a decision but I guess there's some guidelines we must follow to be compliant.

ya had a client that did work for Honeywell/Gov but all in all shouldn't be that hard.
