I get sick to my stomach every time I see him on the mound.:barf It's like every time he is scheduled to pitch, I automatically vision a loss. He should be jailed for stealing money from the Diamondbacks.

I will not attend or even watch another Russ Ortiz start. I don't care that the Dbacks paid him a bunch of money when no other team would and I don't care how much money they would lose by releasing him. The man was finished 2 years ago.

Ortiz should not have been in the rotation last year nor should be this year. How many more games this guy has to screw up for us before the organization stops trying to save face and moves him to the bullpen or to insurance sales where he belongs?

OK, guys -- time to put up or shut up! I have my partial season tix for tonight, and I am NOT going. I keep thinking -- well, just arrive around the fourth inning, and he'll be out... but the way the team has been playing, why bother? Maybe I'll turn on the TV once he's out of the game. Last year it seemed like more than half of my games were on Ortiz starts, and it was grindingly miserable... Going to the ballpark should be somewhat fun.

I had full season tickets first year, half for 2 other years but can't afford that since my kids were born. Now I go to a handful of individual games a year. So there is no way I would pay for an Ortiz start.

I just checked the gamecast and Ortiz got pulled after 2. Does that mean its OK to watch now?
