No. No team can sustain this incredible rash on injuries, our demonstrated lack of power on offense, and start from so far back with so many teams to catch, and end up in the playoffs.

I don't care. I'm enjoying the ride. Playoffs? Maybe next year. My guess is only the Dodgers make the playoffs out of the West.

Suddenly the D-Backs lack of power has turned around. When Hillenbrand comes back, combined with Alex Cintron's sudden surge, add in Gonzo's real power and the team looks so much better power-wise than when the started the season. What a difference some kids make.

What was that about too many teams in front of them to catch. My God, just at looking at those teams, and knowing what they do year in and out - you know they are going to fail - The Expos? Yeah, for years they've had a nice beginning of the season run and someone atlks about maybe this year! The Dodgers - you gotta be kidding me - we all know what the Folders do every year. The Cubbies? No explanation. Houston - our bitch. I'll say this right now - this is a big IF - but IF Randy and Curt come back at full strength, not only does this team get the wild card, but they take the division from Frisco as well - back where it belongs - in the 3 out of 4 time defending Western Champ. Thank God - they had this streak - something to actually keep me interested until training camp. BRING ON DETROIT!

38-25 since our horrid start and the kids just keep impressing - so far a most satisfying season and good for the future - but don't forget - if healthy - the future is NOW!
