The Vancouver Canucks will be without a key piece of their lineup against the Winnipeg Jets, as Conor Garland will miss the game due to injury. Rick Tocchet indicated that Garland would be a game-time decision but would not give specifics of the injury. Through 67 games this season, Garland has 41 points, which ranks third on the Canucks.

With Garland missing the game, his Ironman streak of 227 games officially comes to an end. It was the 28th longest among active players and started on October 20, 2022. Tuesday will be only the seventh time Garland has missed a game since joining Vancouver, with the majority of his absence coming during the 2021-22 season.
As for other lineup notes, Filip Chytil will miss his second straight game as he remains in concussion protocol. Chytil received a dangerous check from behind during the Canucks 6-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks by Jason Dickinson and left the game during the third period. Tocchet did not have an update on Chytil's status before Tuesday's game.
Vancouver wraps up their homestand with a visit from Winnipeg. Tuesday's game is also a special one as it is the annual Canucks for Kids Fund Telethon. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm PT from Rogers Arena.
