The Vancouver Canucks (31-24-11) wrap up their weekend back-to-back with a battle against the Utah Hockey Club. This will be the third instalment of this matchup, with Utah taking the first two games this season. With a victory, the Canucks would be guaranteed to finish the night in a playoff spot while seeing their postseason odds rise above 50%.

Sunday is going to be a challenge for Vancouver, as Utah is one of the fastest teams in the league. They can create odd-man rushes with ease and have some talented young players who can make teams pay when they turn over the puck. Possession will be key for the Canucks, who will need to be mindful when making cross-ice passes at the point.

Players to Watch:

Elias Pettersson:

Elias Pettersson is starting to find his groove, which is bad news for the opposition. He has goals in his last three games and is coming off back-to-back multi-point nights. If Pettersson can continue his goal streak, it should help Vancouver pick up two much-needed points.

Logan Cooley:

Logan Cooley is a young star in the making. The 20-year-old is up to 47 points in 59 games and is nine away from 100 for his career. Averaging 17:47 of ice time this season, Cooley should see plenty of playing time on Sunday in both the top six and on the power play.
