Just wondering won't the available cap space that we got by cutting the three players be eaten by the Rookie $$ Pool. I saw on another site that the Cardinal maximum $$ for their rookie pool is $3.9 million. That doesn't leave us with very much left for extending contracts. I'm just not sure how this works???

Rookie pool is the max you are allowed to spend on your rookies in that year, and although your spending that much on rookies it does not mean all of it are counted against the cap because you ahve to remember the rule of 51. As a good rule rounds 3 through 7 rookies dont make enough to be in the top 51 salaries thus they wont count against the cap. For us and where we picked are 31st pick will be estimated at 900k against the cap and the 2nd rounder will count about 600k. So only 1.5 of are current cap space needs to be budgeted for rookies.

Which leads to a side note. Here is what we can expect to be paying Wells and Cody Brown based on last years picks at the same spots, I just added 5% more and we should be pretty close:

Wells - 5 years - 11.75 total(3 mil of which is in incentives) - 2.66 mil signing bonus

Brown - 4 years - 2.75 total - 935k signing bonus

Well rumor has it that he loves to be invited to parties where he acts as a fondue fountain, covered in chocolate while all of the guests slide their favorite food across his otherwise naked body. He prefers they use their fingers as opposed to fondue sticks as they tend to appear more sensual as they lick their fingers clean. He is fine with adding other things, such as sprinkles, but cream is no longer recommended since the last time when it caused some confusion. Chocolate is the only type of fondue that he does now, because it caused a stink when he cut the cheese. It kind of got hard when it was exposed to the air. If this is something that you would be open to, then I'm glad I was able to give you a direction.

How nice it is knowing that we won't have to restructure our #1 pick in a few years because he is making TOO much money, but rather too little for the first time I can remember
