Alex Ovechkin scored career goal No. 690 against the New York Islanders on Saturday, placing him in a tie for 10th on the NHL's all-time goals list with Pittsburgh Penguins great Mario Lemieux. The Washington Capitals superstar walked in and ripped a wrist shot past Islanders netminder Semyon Varlamov for his 6th goal in his last 3 games.
