The forthcoming Captain America sequel will feature its share of Avengers. The movie's creators have even hinted that fans might get their first glimpse of Ultron, the super villain of Avengers 2.
Winter Soldier co-director Joe Russo recently spoke with the Huffington Post about the film, revealing that the plot will serve as a bridge between the original Avengers and Age of Ultron.
"There's a very strong connection in the narrative between the events of the end of Marvel's The Avengers that drive [Winter Solider], and there's a very strong handoff to the [Age of Ultron] at the end of this movie," Russo said. "And Kevin Feige's whole thing is that this is the biggest bridge of all of Phase 2 movies; it really is. It does involve the most amount of Avengers of any of the films in Phase 2, and it has sort of a, you know, there's a very big shift in the universe at the end of this movie."

Can't wait. Marvel has simply hit these franchises out of the park IMO. Now that Whedon is overseeing the continuity of the franchises I am even more excited.

I multi-tasked with the first one on in the background. Made it a much better movie.

I laughed out loud at some morons while watching a preview for this at Thor. They were all confused, saying, "How can it be the Winter Soldier when there ain't no snow in the preview?" I almost died laughing, and they had no idea why. Priceless!

I had to google it to find out winter soldier is the bad guy. I tried watching the first one one night but wasnt in the mood and turned it off in 15 minutes. Ignorance doesnt equate to stupidity or being a moron.
Just seemed like a very comic book guy - elitist comment.

Yeah, I'm not a comic book guy, and I had no idea what it actually referenced. I merely laughed at the rank stupidity of someone thinking there has to be snow for a movie to have 'winter' in its name. I mean, damn, how dumb do you have to be.

No, people are stupid to think it's the only possible explanation. Sorry, but there's myriad explanations as to why it would be called that. As someone pointed out to me, it's the comic book arc. Okay, so that isn't common knowledge. If you've seen the first movie, Cap was pulled out of the ice. BAM, another explanation. Or perhaps it means the world is in a bleak place, if you haven't seen the first movie. Or perhaps Cap is suffering depression from his displacement and his performance has dropped. Or perhaps...yeah, you get the idea.
"I don't understand, there's no snow on the ground." Sorry, but that is a moronic statement that just deserves mockery. Anyone with a brain can come up with ideas as to why there isn't any snow on the ground in the preview.
