My sentiments are with the team on this one --- I know it is business, but I believe there is a right way and a wrong way to do business. Adrian Wilson did it right. So far as I am concerned, the others should look to him to see how a REAL PRO does it. I was a huge Boldin fan --- until he started crying about the money he was losing. In my opinion that was a slap in the face to the team who did not have to offer him a huge upgrade on his original contract, (which he accepted gladly by the way). Berry has absolutely NO leg to stand on in this matter IMHO.

 Nice article...

Dockett has become one of my least favorite players on the team. I don't like the guy.

What's not to agree with - up to a point; namely that we don't know whether Boldin was promised something more in order to get him to sign his current deal and whether or not that "something" was an agreement to revisit that contract after the first season had been completed.

In other words - In almost every case: "a deal's a deal." But if that deal included renegotiating the deal, then perhaps it's not totally a deal until it's renegotiated.

As of right now, that issue remains one of "he said/she said" - it's hard (and probably unfair) to pass judgment one way or another until we know what the facts were regarding Boldin's current contract.

What doesn't make sense is that , why would the organization make extra guarantee's or promises? They already had all the cards on their side. They didn't need to offer a new deal, they just thought it was the proper thing to do and he accepted it. The bonus $$$$ and the new deal. It should have been enough in itself. If not get something else in writing. That's business.

No a deals a deal. Final, or don't sign it. You have the final word with the signature.

Apparently your suggesting he made a
