A few years back, Mike Jurecki was the "Cardinal Insider", and then reportedly dumped by DG. Under KW, will there be an "Insider"? And if so, whom will it be? I understand that this person might not hold an official title, but will have the ear of the head coach.

Doesn't Calvisi (sp.) sort of fill that role with the team now?

I can not stand Calvisi, seriously, it's the fan's job to drink the koolaid. That guy hasn't had an ounce of insight since he started. Jurecki is bordering the other way since Denny's second year and low and behold he was right about most of his inside info.

I think Jurecki is the only reporter who the players respect. I just can't see them pouring their concerns to the brown nose machine that Calvisi has become.

With that said I think Bickley is garbage and a bitter baby so I can't listen to that show.

I always thought Jureki provided good content but since he has teamed up with the card bashing Bickley I no longer listen to the station and am very thankful KTAR has become a sports talk format.

Calvisi and Wolfley will have better access -- but clearly their takes will be influenced by the paychecks they get from the Card's choosen broadcaster

Jurecki was at one time employed by the team at Fox sports official "Cards Insider"-- but not anymore. His dislike of Denny clearly colored his reporting, but to be fair -- he was generally right.

He dislikes Edge also, he is a Shipp and McGinnis fanboi, It colors his reporting greatly.

Every chance he gets he
1) pimps McGinnis, pimps Shipp
2) Defends him to the death.

Dislikes Edge? That's not too uncommon.

I dont think he has ever been overly criticly. I dont think either one has. They are 5-11 team for the past decade so it isnt like being criticly isnt the truth 90% of the time. But I always thought they did give out props when ever they were deserved.

Yesterday Jurecki was actually talking about the Cards for most of his show and he was giving out a lot of praise as to how the offseason has gone so far.

The other day they were discussing how Adrian Wilson isn't a leader on this team. I laughed and then turned off the radio.
