I kind of figured that Emmitt and Jerry Jones would exchange "howdy's" at some point during the game; but, I just read on the Cards official site that JJ actually came into the Cards locker room to do it.

WTF??? Can anyone imagine Bill Bidwill going into the Buc's locker room to ask Thomas Jones, "How's the hand?"

I can't stand Jerry Jones.

But even I must, grudingly, admit that he handled the situation over Emmitt's comments with class. The media really wanted to see this thing blow up, but it was largely doused by Saturday because of Emmitt's apology on this end, and Jerry's comments on the other.

just for the record...I thought that Bidwill Sr. went to the redskins locker room at sun devil stadium after a game against the Redskins to get something signed/or speak to Larry Centers (centers first appearance at sun devil after he left the team)..I read about it in the media the next day..Anyone else remember any of this - or the report anyway?

It was a classy move to seek out Emmit to say hello. So what if it was in the Cards locker room. It is only pre-season.
