I was quite heartened to see a personnel guy with 20 years in the league say that the Cards, in a quiet way, had done a very good job.

I don't know if anyone saw yesterday's channel 12 sports show at night, they have PIT or something like that. I think they basically said this draft was stupid for the cards...Basically told me not to waste my time watching that show/segment.

The one I saw had a round table discussion on the draft, and one person at the table was Newhouse, the Cards former scout director (I think), who obviously ripped us to shreds. I found it humorous, because his track record was crap as far as drafting.
