He can play center.

His father (Frank Garcia SR.) works security at Maryvale H.S. I used to work with him there in my younger days.

Anyway, Frank Jr. played at the University of Washington and was drafted by the Carolina Panthers, he was there starting center for awhile (2-3 yrs. if memory serves. I kinda lost track after that. He's been bouncing around a little bit. He was always a little undersized (remember Aaron Graham?)

As good of friends as his dad and I were I have to say that
I don't think he would make a good starter (IMHO). But as a backup for depth, who knows.............

I might be wrong but I think they may be bringing him in with the starting C job on their minds thus keeping Kendall at guard and putting Dishman back to all around backup guy.

Haven't seen enough of him play to know how good he is or isn't.

Ed, is Spikes any good? Know NOTHING about him.

Round 2 or 3, earthsci. No doubt. Al Johnson, Wisconsin.

AZ, Spikes played in front of Ricky Williams at Texas, a real masher. Similar to a guy like David Dixon from the Vikings or Zach Pillar of the Titans......real stiff, incredibly powerful, good when the play is in front of him.

He could start in a pinch but i think he'd be depth on this squad.

I would love it if we could get him in Round 3 but, he won't be there. I am assuming that Faine will be gone by then. If he isn't we need to jump on him like white on rice.

Spikes was an AGGIE. He'd be very insulted if he saw you said he played for tu. :) Here's a brief draft bio from 1999, he's up to 323 now. He'd be in the mold of Fina and Roundtree. Versatile depth.

Cameron Spikes Texas A&M 6-3 310
Spikes has good size, strong hands and great strength. He is an excellent run blocker with enough quickness to get out and pull. He also has some versatility as he played his first three years at tackle Overall, Spikes is a nice prospect who could develop if he gets the proper techniques down at the next level.

Someone say tu

Oh yeah, "THE UNIVERSITY"! By the way Texas A&M is all about tradition, right? Well they are over 30 wins behind UT in the rivalry so I guess tradionally A&M is all about loosing.

GO HORNS! GO 'BIG' Davis and the CARDINALS!!!

I went to A&M for three 1/2 years, many in my family graduated from there. I've got two degrees from ASU since then. I always thought the ASU-UofA rivalry paled by comparison.
