Is this the same guy that caught the Rodgers hail mary against the Lions many years ago? I wonder how much gas he has left in the tank

Keim has had a great offseason but someone like Rodgers, Eifert or Burton should already have been on the roster. Especially as all are available at vet min.

Maxx has a injury history anyway but even without that Darrell Daniels and Ross Travis on the PS is not sufficient depth. Daniels should have been TE3 and one of the available vets TE2.

At the very least one of them should have been on the PS all along at vet depth for situation. Ross Travis is clearly not a guy you want to have to rely on.

Take it for what it’s worth, but Gambo said on air today that he still expects them to explore a trade for the “long term”
You have to make some calls. The more I dig into Maxx and his usage the more I feel that this offense is versatile because of the variety of things he could do.

Richard Rodgers is available for a reason. That said, I feel he is a better option than Daniels.

I always liked Rodgers he played at Cal but this is a surprise to me because he's a receiving TE not a blocking one so seems like an odd signing?

Not sure who is available, but this is the year to be buyers not sellers. That is usually more applicable to baseball, but the Cardinals have a real chance at something special THIS season. Carpe diem!

They could have had Ertz before the season. I dunno if the price was too high or what, but he was definitely available. Try to reel him in now.

Better to have a receiving TE who can block vs a blocking TE who can catch.

I'm good with a primary blocker. I think Moore needs more touches and what would have gone to Maxx should go to Moore.

Rumors are swirling that there will be an announcement soon that the Cardinals have traded for Ertz.

That seems to all come from Ertz following Murray on Twitter though right?

I'd rather have Goedert TBH

Ertz is definitely going somewhere though

Hopefully a 2023 pick and not a high one. Or, best case, is that we give him an extension as well so we have a TE under contract for next year.

I'd love goedert but not excited about ertz. He gets zero yac.
