CARDINALS SIGN TACKLE QUINN CHRISTENSEN
Flagstaff, AZ - The Arizona Cardinals today announced that the team has signed rookie offensive tackle QUINN CHRISTENSEN.

Christensen, 24, signed with the Washington Redskins in April as an undrafted rookie free agent out of BYU, but was released on July 26.

The 6-5, 311-pound native of Pocatello, Idaho was a two-year starter at BYU, where he saw action at both guard and tackle. In 2003 he started all 12 games for the Cougars and was an honorable mention all-conference selection.

How's Garcia been playing? I haven't heard his name mentioned for better or for worse.

Garcia can play C or G, though. Roundtree is a swingman at T and G. I'd guess that Roundtree isn't carrying his water.

Maybe this guy is just a "camp body".

That's what I'm guessing, as well. But if another vet OL is going to get the axe, I'm guessing it's Roundtree.

Yeah but aren't we at our 83 man limit? That means now we have to cut someone.

We released Montesanto, Kendall and Rogers in the last two weeks. I think we still have space for one more.

You won't hear no mormon boy from SE Idaho complaining about not starting. I hope this guy can play. If anything, I bet he has a great work ethic.

Jeff, do you know this guy?
Uhhhhh....No!

Except that as an addition to our O-Line, he doesn't excite me quite as much as say...Orlando Pace.

Orlando Pace? Who's he. Is he any good? Who's he in camp with?

Rams...just a camp body though. Wait for him to be cut and hopefully the Cards can sign him onto the practice squad. He is a project but with the right coaching could be an adequate backup.

He was playing LG in a few starts his fresh and soph year, was the starting LG in 2002 and was the starting LT in 2003. He weighed in at 312 lbs, 6-5 1/2, and did 21 reps of the bench. He was considered one of the best UDFA offensive linemen by www.gbnreport.com. But I am not to sure how much this guy actuall has. One of the best oline coaches(Joe Bugel) cut him.
