The Vortex!
The Vikings are in disarray.
The Cardinals are just what the doctor ordered.
I don't see this ending well.

Done predicting, this team is unpredictable aside from the QBs. :D What I will do is wait till the last minute, take the lowest score predicted along with the highest, and slice it down the middle. I will not factor in the far fetched jokie scores. I will probably be much closer than my recent miscalculations have led me.

So Cards win, and that is all I got so far.

27 - 24 Cardinals

I simply cannot pick the other team. I have this horrible feeling that if I don't go with the Cards every time I'll somehow affect their mojo. lol.

DA is in Pro Bowl form, throws for 400 yards, 3 TD's and 1 Pick, THT 125 yds and 1 TD - Cards 31 - Vikes 17
(I drank kool-aid for breakfast AND Andy440 will be in the stands distracting the Viking fans to keep the noise down - at least the noise directed to the field)

This is a quote from an ESPN guy.

DOING TWICE AS MUCH WITH HALF THE TALENT: Packers, Colts, Tampa Bay, St. Louis.

DOING HALF AS MUCH WITH TWICE THE TALENT: Dallas, Minnesota, Arizona, Cincinnati, San Diego.

We are talented ...we are just dumb. We are so dumb. To sort of quote Antoine Dodson "The Bed intruder song"

What makes this so unpredictable is Anderson. The guy is capable of having a good game. He also may be a duddddd. If he happens to have a good game we could win this 31-28. If he lives up to form we could lose 17-35. As a Cards fan I predict 21-28 Cards. As a realist I predict 17-35 with the bad guys winning. Anderson will drive us down to the red zone. At that point Whiz may go strictly to the ground game. Their QB is throwing a lot of interceptions but can become the All Pro he has been on a given day. Lets just hope he does not get hot coming out of the gate. He is one tough dude and needs a dose of Larry Wilson. No way can we let him sit back and have time to survey the field or he will eat us alive. He is old but he is still capable of being deadly.

We break Brett Farve's leg off. Cards win 24 to 21.

I'm with you. Not in the bad mojo way, and I find it hard to believe but I am actually feeling a bit bad for Mr. Favre, he's brought such a load of happy crap down on himself. So I tend to beleive that something will break off him during the game, we may not even have to do the breaking.

I can't predict a score though, cause as much crap as Brett is standing in we are swimming in a pool of unpredictable ourselves.

I'll be watching, and I'll be rooting, but I can't even guess at what is going to happen in cold contry on Sunday. Could be the Vikings forfeit and Coach buys everyone a funnel cake at the Mall.

I wouldn't mind if the Cards "helped" the old bogarting grey wolf into retirement. Actually, I would love it.

Perhaps Current AW can carry on the tradition started by past AW of putting hall of fame QB's into the retirement home for good.

You mean his right arm. He can still outplay our QB with one leg.

Yeah. We all know we've let broken leg QBs kick our arses. :(

If there's one athlete I do not feel a bit bad for, it is, indeed, Brett Favre. You reap what you sow.

I see the Cards stealing this one...BIG. Yep. BIG. The Cardinals have a made a habit out of surprising us, and on the face you'd think that AP alone would be enough to ravage this Cardinals defense. But not Sunday.

Cards 41
Vikes 17

DA finds a groove with Fitz and goes 20/29 310, 2TDs, 1 INT
Hightower redeems himself and goes 13/140 1 TD
LSH runs one back
Toler has a pick 6

Booyah!

...and then next week against the 'hawks we look like a DII team again. It's just the way it goes.

The Cards suck. This team may be as bad as the 2003 team. Well on their way to dead azz last in points scored and points allowed. Extended the crummy players and let the good ones go play somewhere else. Just like old times.

Vikings 42
Cards 12

Wait a minute. As bad as the 2003 team?

I change my prediction.

Vikings 17
