If last week was any indication of what our new franchise QB is all about then Monday Nights match-up could be a preview of this years NFC Championship game. Cardinals and Bears have a long tradition and actually very heated rivalry. Remember pre-season 1986? DT William "The Refridgerator" Perry bodyslams Cards QB Neil Lomax in one of the worst cheapshots in NFL pre-season history. A bench clearing brawl ensued.

No matter what happens Monday Night vs.Bears, the Cardinals have the Raiders, Packers, Cowboys, and Lions in there next 4 games. A true chance to get things turned around very quickly especially with a BYE week planted right in the middle of those games.

So yes the mighty Chicago Bears are coming to town for MNF, but unlike in years past- when you NOW play the Arizona Cardinals you now play Heisman Trophy/ National Championship(s) winning QB Matt Leinart- and no stage is too big for him!

University of Phoenix Stadium- Can you say 12th man advantage like never before??:thewave:

Go Cardinals/ America!

I remember we pulled off a hail mary at the end of the first half in that game and the Cards won it. Thats my only good memory of '86.

We have a Carolina Panther fan coming around now guys. Since we got Leinart the whole country wants to be Cardinal fans. Pass the Chiefs and Panther fan the kool aid pronto.

That's the attitude. Against all odds stick your chest out and say here we come. Look out for us.

Hopefully we don't get our a$$es kicked.

Yes
This is an important game for the Cardinals in terms of National recognition. IMO, D Green has these nest 11 games to win his job for next year.

I think lost in all the hoopla of this being a Monday Night game is the fact that DT Gabe Watson is starting. Watson has the potential to be a stud NFL DT and if he comes to play and can be disruptive in the middle, that could open up a lot for the rest of the fired up Cardinlas Defense. And from what im hearing about team meetings getting heated that tells me for sure this defense is coming out to prove something tomorrow night to the nation!

Go Cards/ America!

Spongebob Squareback is a beast.

There is no doubt that there is talent on this team, yes even on the O-Line. Much of it young talent. The problem is in the chemistry.

The problem with that is he will be going up against maybe the best center in the league. He will overmatched at least as a rookie.

If we continue to grade out at 93% (i.e. we execute well 93% of the time, but screw up 7% of the time) that will be enough for an average NFL team to beat us. Against the Bears, we'll get blacktopped.

But if we can play 98% mistake-free football, we've gotta chance.

This is what it boils down to for this football team.

so you are saying that the cardinals don't have a chance to win. the cardinals need to get their head in the game and quit thinking what is going to happen next. a lot of bad calls are made in every single game. that is something you can't help. what the cardinals can help is not turning the ball over, not commenting stupid penalities like false starts and offsides. tell eric green to quit talking smack and start playing some football. seems like he gets a personal foul in every game. like dennis green said "quit whinning and start playing some football."
