I have the NFL app on my phone and get updates whenever something about the Cardinals pop up. Came across my screen this morning that Cardinals and Bucs were involved in trade talks for Glennon before the draft.

Now we didn't get him and that sucks because I really like the kid but its damn good to know our GM took a swing and was aggressive. That's what I like about the story. The front office went out and got the LT they wanted and they tried to get the QB they wanted.

The Cardinals were interested in a guy who is a backup to Josh McCown?!?!?

Is it normal for one GM to openly discuss trade talks he had but did not complete with another?

I know Licht used to work here but still seems odd to me.

He was on 910 and MJ asked him about the rumors that the Cards inquired about Glennon. Basically he said that there were 4 or 5 teams the inquired and that he Glennon did come up in casual conversations he had w/ Keim, which isnt surprising because he (Licht) knew how highly Keim thought of him. It sounded like there were not any serious trade talks, with the Cards or any other team
