Could be, Stout...

I remember reading that our QB coach was checking out the Kafka kid, too. Wouldn't surprise me if either one ends up in Cardinal red.

I like Skelton as a QB project. He has a bullet for an arm, a great size and good athleticism at that size but his technique needs a lot of work and he was very incosistent during the east west shrine game. Wouldnt be a bad pick in the fourth though because if he can tweek his action and put it a bit better together he could a be a very good QB.

I'm w/ya O...

BUT that Red Skelton was a wonderful performer. :)Luv'd the pantomime bits. He could make you laugh and then touch your heart the next moment. ...And he always ended his show with...May GOD bless. Always made me smile. :) As for the red-part?? What could be more natural. We draft this Skelton and in 5 days he'll be nicknamed "Red".

Earlier CW held that it wouldn't be a surprise if we carried 3 vets plus a rook (either from the draft or as an UDFA); so I don't think the visit of Skelton necessarily has anything to do with whether or not we sign St. Pierre.

No way on Earth does Whiz carry 4 QBs, none. Hell, he carried 2 his first year with the team. We value STs too much for that.

I think he means in training camp. I could be wrong though.

Plus we knew about Skelton coming in for a private workout like a month ago. This news has nothing to do with BSP being told to stay home, if it was they would have told BSP to stay home a month ago instead of telling him to come down for a physical.

My father's favorite comedian. I fondly remember, as a kid, watching the Red Skelton show each week with my dad.

May God bless! :)

Most of us don't remember him....but I shouldn't say us. His nephew is a congressman from MO (?).

Maybe telling BSP to stay home had something to do with realizing that we might as well bring in a rook versus continuing to pay this bum another year of NFL salary while hoping we never have to use him in a game...just sayin'
