Cards can still get 5th seed and play an 8-8 Eagles team.

Amazingly....If we win out and the Falcons lose out. I know not easy but I see New Orleans beating them....We need a miracle for Tampa but the point is....If the Eagles beat the Cowboys next week...The Eagles can win their division. Crazy that we could get a 5th seed.

Well if SD plays the Lions next week like they are playing the Ravens tonight the Lions just might go 0-2 to finish the season. That helps big time....

yeah I had the same thing
if Cowboys lose to Eagles & Giants
and Giants lose to Jets
all 3 teams 8-8
but Eagles win the division

If detroit loses next week (15) an we win, we are looking pretty good. Last game of the season Det has to go to GB and we are at home V Seattle.

Uh. Did I miss something? Doesnt Seattle have the same record and the tie breaker. I guess it could come down to that last game against them.

Plus Giants have tiebreaker also on us.

If the Giants win the division, it wont matter as we have the tie breaker on Dallas for the WC.

Grasping for straws playoff scenario for us:

1. We have to win out. If we do, we beat Seattle Week 17, knocking them out of contention.

2. Root for the Falcons and Lions to lose out.

Well if we beat the Seahawks we would have a better record than them. As it comes to the Giants and the rest, if there is a tie between 3 or more teams the first tiebreaker is conference record NOT head to head

I rooted for the falcons and detroit to lose the last 3 weeks lol...I been getting a ton of laughs talking about the playoffs here at work. But I really like our shot.

The problem with Detroit at GB the last game is now that the perfect season is over. They may be in a position to rest players.

Just win next week and then we will see. Cincy at their place is going to be a tough game for us. Just win that one guys!

And yet another way to think about it:

The Cardinals must win out and get two of the following three:

A) Bears lose/tie at least once
B) Lions lose both
C) Falcons lose both

Now, if all three things happen, we're the #5 seed.

It's getting simpler every week. We lose, we're out. If we win Saturday, and Detroit and and Atlanta win Saturday, we're still out.
